Who We Are
unang88 was founded in 2016 by a team of gaming industry veterans and Malaysian tech entrepreneurs who were tired of watching local players get a subpar experience on platforms built for foreign markets. The name reflects a simple idea — being first, being number one, being the platform that puts Malaysian players front and centre.
In our early days, we focused exclusively on sports betting — specifically football. Liga Super Malaysia, the English Premier League, FA Cup fixtures, and live in-play markets for matches that Malaysians actually care about. From Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru, from Petaling Jaya to Penang Island, our first users were football fans who wanted odds that reflected real value, not platforms padding their margins at the player's expense.
Over time, we expanded into live casino games, slot titles, UFC and MMA markets, and eventually into full cryptocurrency support — reflecting the growing number of Malaysian players who prefer the speed and privacy of digital asset transactions. Today, unang88 is a comprehensive online gaming platform with over 480,000 registered members and a daily payout volume exceeding RM 2.4 million.
What has not changed in eight years is our core commitment: treat every player fairly, pay out promptly, and be reachable when something goes wrong. That's it. No gimmicks, no misleading bonus terms buried in fine print, no unexplained withdrawal delays.
"We built unang88 because we knew Malaysian players deserved better — faster withdrawals, honest odds, support in their own language, and a platform that respects their loyalty."
What Drives Us
Everything we build, every policy we write, and every support agent we train is guided by a consistent set of values that reflect what kind of platform unang88 wants to be — for the long term.
Our bonus terms are written in plain English and our RTP percentages are displayed on every slot card. No hidden conditions, no bait-and-switch promotions. What you see is what you get.
Winnings belong to players — full stop. Our internal target is to process 90% of withdrawals within 30 minutes during business hours. We publish our payout metrics so players can hold us accountable.
We are not a generic platform reskinned for Malaysia. Our payment integrations, sports coverage, support languages, and bonus structures are all designed with Malaysian players specifically in mind — from Shah Alam to Kota Kinabalu.
256-bit SSL encryption site-wide, mandatory KYC verification, two-factor authentication, and continuous fraud monitoring protect every account. Your financial data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Gambling is entertainment, not a financial strategy. We take this seriously: deposit limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods, and voluntary self-exclusion are all built into the platform and available to every member at no charge. 21+
We release platform updates every two weeks based directly on player feedback. If something is broken or frustrating, our tech team hears about it within 24 hours through our internal feedback loop. We are never finished improving.

The People Behind unang88
unang88 is run by a cross-functional team of gaming professionals, engineers, compliance specialists, and support leads who collectively have decades of industry experience across Southeast Asia.
Our Commitment
There is a meaningful difference between a platform that accepts Malaysian players and one that is built for them. unang88 falls firmly in the second category. Every aspect of our platform — from the payment methods we support to the sports we cover to the languages our agents speak — reflects the reality of everyday life in Malaysia.
Our users are football fans in Shah Alam who want to bet on Liga Super Malaysia matches during the weekend. They are crypto-savvy professionals in Kuala Lumpur who prefer USDT transactions over bank transfers. They are casual slot players in Penang and Johor Bahru who want to spin a few reels after work without battling a clunky interface. They are high-volume sports bettors in Petaling Jaya who need accurate in-play odds and rapid cash-out options.
All of them belong at unang88. We have built the platform, the payment stack, the support team, and the game library to serve every one of them — and we continue to expand and refine everything based on direct feedback from our Malaysian community.
unang88 is an entertainment platform — not a financial tool. We take our duty of care to players seriously and have invested significantly in responsible gambling infrastructure. Every member has access to deposit limits, session time reminders, cooling-off periods, and voluntary self-exclusion — all accessible directly from Account Settings at no cost.
If you or someone you know is experiencing gambling-related difficulties, we encourage reaching out to professional support services. For more information on the tools available at unang88, please visit our Responsible Gambling page.
